Always a favourite project for the team at EDGE, Vision was a startup company that need our help creating a strong brand identity.
Just like in the construction industry, a strong foundation is critical if we are to build. Before we could start with the suite of business literature it was crucial that the logo was designed and agreed. The design is clean and modern with a strong identity thanks to the use of two bold colours that harmonise well.
Designed in Illustrator as a vectored file, it will scale to any size without loss of resolution but is equally easy to read in smaller formats such as business cards.
Very often, the business card is the first impression a customer/prospect has of your company and so it is always important to make it count. Given that the client will be operating in the construction industry, a strong design was needed that still remained uncomplicated and easy to read. The use of simple and clean typeface that carry the colour theme re-enforces a professional approach.
Making the business cards two-sided also gave us real-estate for a simple business outline and the finished product was all finished with a matt laminate to both sides in order to resist dirt and grime so that the clean image endures.
To complete the look, EDGE carried the deign through to some Letterhead and a simple email signature ensuring that there was always a consistent image from the company whatever communication channels were used.
As a start up company in a well established industry, it was critical that I went to market with a strong, confident and professional image. Working with the team at EDGE was easy, they listened to the initial brief and then we worked on expanding it to ensure it met not just my expectations but also those of my industry. I am delighted with the results!
